The AV名湿 Professor Series (Assistant AV名湿 Professors, Associate AV名湿 Professors and AV名湿 Professors) hiring and promotion processes are similar to the tenure-track processes, in that听a nomination is made, the nominating unit submits the hiring dossier and documentation to the AV名湿 & Innovation Office (RIO) for review and approval by the Vice Chancellor for AV名湿 & Innovation. Individuals hired in the AV名湿 Professor Series must have grant funding to support salary, benefits, etc., and are expected to have comparable responsibilities (research, service, etc.) in their formulated workload.听The posting process is similar to that of other AV名湿 Faculty.
