Nick Dokkin is the Clery Compliance Officer for the University of Colorado Boulder. Nick has nearly 10 years of experience working in higher education within the areas of student engagement and leadership, orientation, academic advising, residential life and crisis response, academic program management, and now Clery Compliance.

Nick is responsible for leading all aspects of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) for the University. In his oversight, Nick assists in the development and implementation of all policies and procedures within the Clery Act, manages the institution's Campus Security Authority (CSA) program, develops and delivers Clery Compliance training content, Chairs the Clery Compliance and Data Assurances Committees, analyzes Clery crime statistics, produces the Annual Security & Fire Safety Report (ASFR), and advancing the work of Clery Compliance at CU Boulder.

Nick began his career at CU Boulder in 2022 prior to working at various institutions across Colorado, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Strategic Communications from University of North Dakota, his Master's in Leadership in Student Affairs/Higher Education from the University of St. Thomas, and is currently obtaining his Doctorate from University of Colorado Denver. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his dogs, traveling, drinking coffee, tending to his plants, and spending time with friends and family.Ìý
