Dear Strategic Resources and Support team,
I hope this message finds you settling into the flow of the new academic year.
As I noted in my video address to the team last month, I truly am grateful for all that you do. No matter our individual roles, we are all contributing to something greater than ourselves at this university. You embody our campus’s lead-innovate-impact values every day in the ways you support and enable the success of our students, faculty and staff. These monthly messages will be one channel via which I aim to illustrate our university’s support for you.
- SRS “By the Numbers”: Speaking of your good work, the fiscal year 2022 numbers are in, and your contributions are countless. We’ve put together an SRS By the Numbers piece that highlights just a few of the many ways our units are supporting the university mission. The page includes a printable version that you can post in your units or download and use when telling our SRS story.ĚýÂ
- Expo photo gallery: Thank you to the hundreds of you who were able to attend our August SRS Employee Expo. The event proved a great showcase of your contributions. Photos of the event are in, including yours truly in a hazmat suit.Ěý
- Got your Employee Passport?: Hopefully by now you’ve received an Employee Passport booklet or at least have had the opportunity to visit the website to “stamp” your passport for a chance to win prizes. The passport is one of the ways we’re encouraging participation in the campus events and discourse that define our university community. And don’t forget: The CU Bookstore 25% off coupon on the back cover is valid through Sept. 30.Ěý
- Join our Employee Engagement Committee: Want to join our efforts to create a sense of belonging among our employees? Join our Employee Engagement Committee. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to .Ěý
- Health and Wellness Summit: Our annual Health and Wellness Summit, Oct. 11-14, is a great way for our employees and students to connect with the resources and support available at CU Boulder. I hope you can find time to attend a session or two that interest you.
Before signing off, I have one request. If you have employees who are not regularly on computers or email during the work day, please use communication channels within your individual units to ensure your teams are seeing the messages and resources highlighted each month. We are a broad and diverse organization, and I want our people in all corners of SRS to be afforded the same opportunities to connect and engage.
Sincerely,
Pat
