Bio
Amanda Ljuba is a first-year PhD student and teaching assistant in the Department of Sociology. She received a Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Criminology from Virginia Tech. As an undergraduate research assistant, her research focused on whistleblower outcomes, power structures, and statistical analysis. Her current research interests include mass incarceration, social stratification, and the intersection of race and ethnicity.
