Tamara Sumner is the Director of the Institute of Cognitive Science and a Professor in Computer and Cognitive Science at the University of Colorado. She leads interdisciplinary research to study how computational tools can improve teaching practice, learning outcomes and learner engagement in STEM. She is the current Acting Director of iSAT while Prof. Sidney D’Mello is on sabbatical. She is also a co-PI on iSAT and co-leads Strand 3 with Prof. Bill Penuel.
