Jeffrey Flanigan is an Assistant Professor in the Jack Baskin School of Engineering at UC Santa Cruz. His research is in the areas of natural language processing, large language models, and deep learning. His work focuses on structured representations of meaning in language such as the Abstract Meaning Representation (AMR), zero-shot and few-shot methods, and tasks such as dialog and machine translation.
