PWR Assistant Professor Laurie Gries has been selected by a campus committee of her colleagues to be given one of this year's Provost's Faculty Achievement Awards. In selecting her for this award, the faculty committee pointed to the importance of her book,Still Life with Rhetoric: A New Materialist Approach for Visual Rhetorics, published by Utah State University Press. Along with generally excellent reviews, this book received an Advancement of Knowledge Award and a AVʪ Impact Award from leading scholarly organizations in her field.
