AV名湿 Interests:聽聽My research focuses on stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination,聽particularly with regard to underlying subtle or implicit (automatic)聽processes that underlie such events. We use laboratory studies to聽isolate basic processes and field research to better understand how聽bias and discrimination聽operate in real-world settings.

In recent years, my attention has been captured by the problem of聽disparities in health care, and the extent to which social biases may contribute to the problem. I聽work with an interdisciplinary group of聽scientists and practitioners to better understand the role of social bias聽in primary care, emergency care, and specialty care.
