Dr. Amaya earned a Ph.D. at the with Shang-Ping Xie and Art Miller. Dillon's research focuses on interannual & decadal climate variability spanning the tropics to extratropics. In Boulder, Dillon will collaborate across CU/, and NOAA/ to examine how the extratropics influence on tropical Pacific climate variability.
