Two pianos, plus... three pianists, two cellists, two percussionists and a horn player! This program, Two Pianos +,Ěýwill feature works for two pianos, played by Alexandra Nguyen, Hsiao-Ling Lin and Jennifer Hayghe,Ěýin combination with other instruments. The full ensemble includesĚýMichael Thornton, horn,ĚýDavid Requiro and Meta Weiss, cello,Ěýand Michael Tetreault and John Kinzie, percussion. They will perform piecesĚýincluding Schumann's unusual Andante and Variations, as well as BartĂłk’s formidable Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion.
