College of Music graduate students John Lindsey and Nicole Vogel have been invited to perform a scene from CarmenĚýat the National Opera Association National Convention in San Antonio, Texas on January 6.Ěý Together with music directorĚýChristopher Zemliauskas, this scene will also be performed on the opera scenes program Tuesday, December 7 in the Music Theatre.
In addition, CU Opera’s production ofĚýOur TownĚý(pictured above) was awarded Third Prize in the NOA Opera Production Competition. CU will be recognized and receive an award at the national convention final brunch in San Antonio.
