Scott Rowe received a Chemical Engineering bachelors with honors from the University of Texas Austin where he worked at the Process Science Technology Center.听 Scott has strong interests in process simulation and control, interests that are being applied to the solar carbothermal reduction of magnesium oxide.听 These interests stem from the study of biological systems, which are tremendously complex yet poorly characterized.听 Scott transitioned to engineering to understand the quantitative tools needed to understand similarly complex systems.
