Michael graduated from Stanford University before Charles moved to CU. After graduating, he was a Scientist at Arqule for 2 years before returning to graduate school to complete his PhD at UCSF under the supervision of聽Brian Shoichet. Later, he would hold Scientist positions at聽ConfometRx, Inc and聽SeaChange Pharmaceuticals, Inc before becoming Principal Scientist at Atomwise.
