My research focuses on computational designing of materials for optoelectronic applications and energy applications. The core of my work revolves around delving into the relationship between material structures and their properties. Employing computational tools such as Density Functional Theory (DFT) and the Green's function-based GW method, I work to unravel the fundamental principles governing the optoelectronic properties of perovskite crystals. This deep understanding not only sheds light on the intricacies of these materials but also enables the strategic design of novel crystals with an light ground state, particularly advantageous for applications like single photon sources.
