Chemical and Biological Engineering
After graduating, Alan went to UC Santa Barbara to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering under the supervision of Eric McFarland and聽Horia Metiu. Once he finished up, he held a variety of positions in data science, including as a Freelance Data Journalist at Priceonomics Inc and Data Scientist at聽Avea Solutions. He would later move to Google to work as a Software Engineer. He now works on the Quantum AI project at Google as a software engineer.
