Wesam is currently a Lecturer at the American University聽of聽Libya. He has over fifteen years of聽industry experience in managing and implementing infrastructure projects as well as asset management. His research explores聽opportunities in the areas of聽asset management,聽risk management, life cycle engineering, change management, and infrastructure resilience.聽His wife, Aisha, and聽kids (Alhasan, Fatima, Alhusain, and Atika) are his聽source聽of power and energy,聽supporting him聽during all the challenges they聽face. In his free time, Wesam likes to discover new places around the world with his family and friends and plays soccer, basketball, and swims.
