Changes for the Office for Performance Improvement

As part of CU Boulder’s culture of continuous improvement and assessment, the recently conducted a program review of the Office for Performance Improvement (OPI).ÌýAfter conducting the review, it was learned that OPI created some confusion for the campus community. Many of OPI’s services fell within the scope of work for which established departments are already responsible. The Senior Vice Chancellor’s Office concluded that the work of OPI should transition to existing permanent departments.

As a result, OPI is no longer a separate office within Finance and Business Strategy. The OPI staff were redeployed to other offices appropriate to lead their efforts. Projects currently underway will transition into the offices identified below. This change provides better clarity regarding which office to turn to for servicesÌýand allows the work of all to be guided in a unified fashion.

Office for Performance ImprovementÌýservices and staff have moved to the following areas:

  • Change Management and Management Consulting
    • Contact: ÌýKatherine Erwin,ÌýChief Human Resources Officer, Katherine.Erwin@Colorado.EDU, 303-735-5437
