Thomas Dearing has been selected for a summer internship at the Air Force AVÃûʪ Laboratory , where he will be joining the Guidance, Navigation, and Controls group of the Space Vehicle Directorate . This internship will hopefully help guide his current work towards new and even more exciting applications.

Thomas Dearing has opted to pursue his PhD under the joint supervision of Xudong Chen and myself. His research focus will be the Formation Control of Multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Tommy has effectively doubled the number PhD students in the ROCC group and I wish him a very successful journey.

David J. Pasley will be pursuing his PhD under the joint supervision of Lucy Pao and myself. His primary focus will be the Autonomous Mobile Sensing for Wind Field Estimation project. David is my first (currently my only) PhD student and I wholeheartedly wish him the best of luck!
