Bio: Molly Bowers is a PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder in the Mechanical Engineering Dept, working with Dr. Robyn Macdonald. Her research focuses on RANS turbulence modeling for hypersonic flows over wall roughness. She received her Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University in 2019, where she lead the Sunseeker solar racecar team through three American Solar Challenge races. She then worked as an Exterior Lighting Engineer at General Motors. In her free time, she likes hiking, reading, travel, and yoga.
