Over the past year, Professor Borden was appointed to the NIH Biomaterials and Bio-interfaces (BMBI) study section and the Scientific Board for the European Contrast Ultrasound Symposium. He was also elected to the topical program committee of the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium.
