Dawn Lundy Martin听is an American poet, essayist and activist. She is a well received poet, including a number of awards such as the Academy of American Arts and Science鈥檚听May Sarton Prize for Poetry.听Martin is currently faculty at听University of Pittsburgh听and director of the听Center for African American Poetry and Poetics.
