He brings over 20 years of experience to Engineering Connections, and has experience working extensively with curriculum design, program development, facilitation and community building. In his free time, Aaron teachs yoga, loves to try new restaurants, and spends time with his friends and family.

Deeply committed to teaching and creating communities of learners, Scot is the founding director of the Engineering Honors Program, where he has been the faculty-in-residence since 2009. This year, Scot will move into Williams Village and serve as the faculty director for the entire Engineering Connections community.

Maura has worked with first-year students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science for over six years. She's so excited to bring Engineering Connections to life! After earning her MA from the University of Michigan, Maura landed in Boulder and has made it her home. She grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and enjoys outdoor concerts, hiking and spending time with her dog, Callie Ripken.

Laura holds a PhD in geography and environmental engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and a BS in environmental engineering from Northwestern University. Mary has been at CU Boulder working with an engineering RAP for nine years. She is looking forward to providing holistic, student-centered support and connections in our community. Mary is a contemplative kombucha brewer who is not afraid of out-of-the-box conversations. She enjoys being outdoors in every season — hiking, trail running, gardening, show shoeing — especially with her four grown kids and grand dog.

Joshua is Indigenous Taiwanese from the Atayal tribe in 拉拉山，上巴陵. He grew up helping out on the family peach farm with his relatives, immigrated to Hawai’i when he was nine and studied environmentalism and sustainable food systems. Joshua did his undergraduate at a small liberal arts school called Kenyon College and received his master’s from the University of Colorado Boulder. Aleqzander Baker is?from Loveland, Colorado. He is a first-year computer science major and loves being with friends?and family. Jessica Darby got her BS?in environmental engineering at CU Boulder and is now working toward?her MS in global engineering. She has been involved with building a community for engineering students for three years. In her free time, she can be found playing games, exploring Colorado?and obsessing over her pet.

Kevin Leidig is an undergraduate student?studying?biomedical engineering at CU Boulder. Returning to the dorms for his second year, Kevin is involved in the Engineering Honors Program and lives with the RAP in our Engineering Connections residential community. Kevin has lived in Colorado for his entire life and in his free time, he enjoys?figure skating, playing tennis?and crocheting.

Naomi Meharie?is one of our student event planners at Engineering Connections. She is an aerospace major and astronomy minor. She is excited for everyone to try the events we host and make new friends!

Tana McCoy is from Maryland and loves Colorado! She is a first-year student at CU Boulder and is studying chemical engineering with a touch of neuroscience. Having experience in event planning and media while also being in the engineering school, she is passionate about building community among future engineers. She plays rugby, loves to paint?and is a huge bookworm. She is also a part of our event planning team.?

Madison Seckman is a sophomore double majoring in biomedical and mechanical engineering. Besides working for Engineering Connections, she also works as a course assistant for a computer-aided design and fabrication course, helping students learn SolidWorks. In her free time, she loves to climb, bike, hike, game, cook?and make Spotify playlists.

Alessandro Valente is a first-year aerospace engineering sciences student who has just moved from London, England. He spent his childhood racing motorcycles and hopes to work in motorsport after attending CU. Alessandro spends a lot of his time outdoors — in his spare time, he is usually travelling, hiking or playing basketball.

Feven Wubeshet is a Colorado native and?is in her second year in aerospace engineering. She is also?working toward a minor?in neuroscience.?
