He brings over 20 years of experience to Engineering Connections, and has experience working extensively with curriculum design, program development, facilitation and community building. In his free time, Aaron teachs yoga, loves to try new restaurants, and spends time with his friends and family.

Deeply committed to teaching and creating communities of learners, Scot is the founding director of the Engineering Honors Program, where he has been the faculty-in-residence since 2009. This year, Scot will move into Williams Village and serve as the faculty director for the entire Engineering Connections community.

Maura has worked with first-year students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science for over six years. She's so excited to bring Engineering Connections to life! After earning her MA from the University of Michigan, Maura landed in Boulder and has made it her home. She grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and enjoys outdoor concerts, hiking and spending time with her dog, Callie Ripken.

Laura holds a PhD in geography and environmental engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and a BS in environmental engineering from Northwestern University. He has lived in Colorado for 34 years and has a master's degree in higher education leadership & organization. Mary has been at CU Boulder working with an engineering RAP for nine years. She is looking forward to providing holistic, student-centered support and connections in our community. Mary is a contemplative kombucha brewer who is not afraid of out-of-the-box conversations. She enjoys being outdoors in every season — hiking, trail running, gardening, show shoeing — especially with her four grown kids and grand dog.

Joshua is Indigenous Taiwanese from the Atayal tribe in 拉拉山,上巴陵. He grew up helping out on the family peach farm with his relatives, immigrated to Hawai’i when he was nine and studied environmentalism and sustainable food systems. Joshua did his undergraduate at a small liberal arts school called Kenyon College and received his master’s from the University of Colorado Boulder.
