Learning about hardwareÌýand software for the first time can be an extremely confusing and frustrating experience. Far from getting students excited about creating cool projects, students often walk away convinced they must not be smart enough to be an engineer. This is sad and wholly unnecessary.

EDUbot changes this by giving students a simple, ready-made robot complete with a drag-and-drop programming interface. This way students can start learning about how software and hardware work together without having to start from scratch. Once students have progressed further, they can start creating and adding modules to increase the robot's functionality. The ready-made modules we have included to get students started include an LED module, a breadboard module, and a user interaction module.

This project incorporates the knowledge of one computer science engineer, one engineering plus engineer, and four electrical engineers.
