Elena Diaz-Bilello is the Associate Director at聽CADRE and聽collaborates with聽state agencies,聽school districts,聽and educational organizations聽to聽develop practical and sound聽approaches for addressing assessment and educational policy聽challenges. 聽She draws on her background in measurement, evaluation and policy聽to help design, implement聽and evaluate聽educational聽reforms and initiatives, and聽to develop聽comprehensive assessment strategies聽to foster deeper learning for all students.聽聽
Prior to joining CADRE in 2015, Elena was a Senior Associate at the National Center for the Improvement of Educational Assessment providing technical assistance and guidance to state聽agencies, the U.S. Department of Education, national organizations, and school districts聽in the areas of designing validity and program evaluation聽studies and聽improving upon聽accountability and聽assessment practices. 聽 She also worked as a program evaluator for the Denver Public Schools and served as a consultant to the聽Colorado Department of Education.聽
