Declan Carroll is a Marketing PhD student at the Leeds School of Business. Prior to joining Leeds, he worked as a national tax consultant, assisting a diverse array of companies across industries to optimize tax credit utilization while ensuring compliance. He completed his BBA in Business Economics at the University of San Diego, where he was a member of the Honors program and the football team. His current research interests include how people allocate their finances and how households make financial decisions in the context of relationships. In his free time, he enjoys competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, officiating soccer games, and spending time with his fianc茅e, Lydia, and their pet cat, Mochi.
