  1. ÌýThe provost has indicated that the conversation itself is worth doing, but the hope is to be able to arrive at a consensus about some planning priorities for our academic future.

Comment: Yes, there is value in the process to enable employee engagement

Comment:Ìý We need to consider the skill sets needed for our students as they prepare for future careers:Ìý communication; critical thinking; problem solving; willing to take risks; statistics and data science

Comment:Ìý We should discuss student debt.

Comment:Ìý Staff could help set up practicum courses for students

Comment:Ìý Increase communication between faculty and staff.

Comment:Ìý The next generation of teachers need to be interdisciplinary; and they need to inculcate soft skills along with technical ones.
